30 Seconds to Mars - Up in the Air

I'm so glad to see that 30 Seconds to Mars is back. I've posted a song by them before and I still love them. The song below is the first single of their new album out in May. I would say so far so good. I do love when bands develop and change their sound, but at the same time still sound the same. I think that's what 30STM has done. Enjoy!

Lostprophets - Last Train Home

I have very mixed feelings towards Lostprophets - I do love their music but the allegations made towards the lead singer a few months ago concerning his plot to rape a baby and other offences turn my stomach upside down. Nevertheless, in this post I just want to share this great song without thinking any deeper. A bit of more energy to your Thursday!

Hurts - Miracle

Hurts' newest album 'Excile' was released a very short time ago and considering it took almost 3 years to make it, it was long overdo. I do have to say that the album delivers. It has beautiful melodies and a soothing voice which for me is one of the trademarks of hurts. So let's finish the week with this video of their first single called 'Miracle'!

Matthew Barber - Revolution of the Sun

I love Spotify. Completely adore it for so many reasons. One of the main ones is that Spotify Radio helps me find new artists based on what I normally listen to and what I like. That's also how I just discovered Matthew Barber. I am speechless. This guys is just so good. The songs are beautiful. You have to (did I say HAVE TO) listen to him. Amazing!

Mumford & Sons - Whispers in the Dark

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Mumford & Sons' album 'Babel' is genius! Definitely one of my favorites from last year. They just released a new video, so it's a good way to start your Monday!

The latest craze in our office is a page called plug.dj where you can log in with a group of people and share your music with them. My latest favorite is Plug.dj Chill Out Room where a number of people play really cool and relaxed music for working. That's where I also got this awesome song. Happy Friday!

One Less Reason - Uneasy

I don't remember how I ever discovered One Less Reason. I do have to say that I haven't been a loyal listener and only am a fan of a few songs. This is one of their newest and although it's extremely sad, it's also very beautiful. For some reason it seems to go well with the gray and stormy weather outside my window...

Hadley Fraser - Take Me Away

I've spent the morning being mesmerized by the voice of Hadley Fraser. Again. Just can't stop listening to him. And thanks to him I just now also discovered the music of Alan Scott. To a musical lover like me - this guys is a genius! The songs he has written and had them perform by various musical singers is exquisite. 

Back to Hadley now. He's voice. I have no words to describe it. Amazing. It just takes you away...
